The Greater Hammond Chamber is excited to announce their annual Chillin' with the Chamber, including the popular $10,000 raffle, will be held Saturday, August 17, from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Chappapeela Sports Park gymnasium in Hammond.

Celebrating with the "Greater Hammond Chamber All-Stars,” the event is moving inside where guests can enjoy delicious food and libations from Chamber members in a cooler setting. Tickets to the event are $100, and include admittance for two as well as one chance to win the $10,000 grand prize or the second prize – a bracelet from George Ibert Jewelry & Gifts, valued at $500. Guests can join in the fun by dressing to support their favorite sport or team.

“This is our one big event each year that enables us to raise money to care for the historic Hammond Train Depot, as well as support member programs,” President and CEO Melissa Bordelon said. “This is always a hot ticket as we celebrate the end of summer together. But we are glad the night will be cooler with the move indoors.”

Honoring their long-time, No. 1 ticket-seller, the Chamber is once again kicking off ticket sales with a special “Mrs. Frances Chauvin Day” to be held at the Chamber office on Wednesday, June 12, from 7 a.m. to noon. The fun begins with a live remote with Johnny in the Morning, Tangi 96.5 FM, and is the perfect opportunity to buy tickets and get a picture with Mrs. Frances to share on social media.

Chamber board members will also have tickets available starting June 12. Click here for a list of board leadership who will be eager to deliver tickets to you and your business.
