United Way serving Tangipahoa Campaign Kick-Off
Event Description:
United Way serving Tangipahoa Parish's 2014-2015 Campaign Kick-Off will be August 15th from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center (113 N Cypress St, Hammond, LA 70401). Please come join us as we give recognition to 2013-2014 donors and campaign contributors! We will also have our partner agency representatives, a raffle for our upcoming event, Purses for a Purpose, and the Children's Challenge activity!
United Way is inspiring hope and creating opportunities for a better life for all. We all need: a quality EDUCATION; sufficient INCOME to support a family; sound mental and physical HEALTH.
We need long lasting changes to prevent problems from happening. To LIVE UNITED means being a part of the change. United Way serving Tangipahoa Parish makes all funding decisions based on Tangipahoa priorities. All funds raised here, stay here and go towards 15 local partner agencies.
We support programs that work to strengthen children and youth, the elderly, families and individuals from all walks of life. Programs funded by United Way are closely monitored by volunteers and staff to ensure their success at making our community a better place to live, work and raise our families.
