Tangipahoa Economic Development Foundation in partnership with the Greater Hammond Chamber are pleased to present the TEDF Annual Luncheon on May 2, featuring Smitty’s Supply as the keynote speaker and Inner Parish Security Corporation as the presenting sponsor.
The theme for the annual luncheon is “Small Town to Big Time: Tangipahoa Parish Goes Global,” focusing on the worldwide impact of businesses born right here in the heart of Tangipahoa.
“Founded in Roseland, Smitty’s is celebrating 50 years in business. They are a multi-generational company that has grown to now sell products to over 150 different countries,” Tangipahoa Economic Development Executive Director Ginger Cangelosi said. “We are very much looking forward to having them come and share the story of their success.”
Presenting sponsor Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is also a Tangipahoa-based business that has experienced global reach. IPSC representatives will also share information on the growth of their family-owned company during the luncheon.
“We value our ongoing partnership with TEDF and look forward to having business leaders throughout Tangipahoa Parish with us at the table,” Greater Hammond Chamber President and CEO Melissa Bordelon said. “This is definitely a ‘don’t-miss’ business event!”
The luncheon will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at the Southeastern Louisiana University Student Union Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $30 and a table of eight can be reserved for $390. Register early as this popular event will sell out and no registrations will be available at the door.
