The Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce, Ponchatoula and Amite chambers and the Southeastern Louisiana University Student Government Association are hosting a Candidate Meet & Greet and Parish Presidential Forum to allow voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and have their questions answered.
From 5 to 6 p.m. members of the community will be able to visit candidate tables before attending the Forum for Parish Presidential candidates at 6 p.m. Two of the four Parish Presidential candidates – Robby Miller and Carlos Notariano – have agreed to participate in the Forum.
The Meet & Greet and Forum will be held on the third floor of the new Southeastern Student Union. Parking will be available on Texas Avenue on Southeastern Campus. The Forum will be aired live on the radio at KSLU 90.9 and Tangi 96.5, as well as recorded by the Southeastern Channel for future broadcast on Charter Cable 199.
