Event Description:
Business leaders agree that the end of the Tangipahoa Parish School System Desegregation Case will be a game changer for Tangipahoa Parish. Our Greater Hammond Chamber members understand this and continue to place a high priority on improving our public education system. 
We encourage every member to send at least one employee from their team to our Tuesday, August 27 Luncheon as Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley leads a panel discussion on the state of the Desegregation Case. Joining Stilley will be Ashley Bass, Lead Negotiator for the Tangipahoa Parish School System, Tom Anderson, Co-Chair of the Community Advisory Committee and other stakeholders. There will also be time for Q & A as well as information on how your business help during the 2019-20 school year.  
Open to all business leaders and community members in Tangipahoa Parish, pre-registration for is $30 and is required for the 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Chamber event at the Southeastern Student Union Ballroom.
