Event Description:
Congratulations to our friends at the Hammond Downtown Development District on the Grand Opening of Railroad Park. Join the Hammond DDD and Tangipahoa Chamber Wednesday, June 1st at 5:30 p.m. for the official event.
The grand opening celebration will begin with opening remarks from city leaders and a ribbon cutting ceremony. Engraved bricks recently purchased by community members will be unveiled at the opening. Following the ribbon cutting, Will Vance and the Kinfolk will take the stage until 8PM. Light refreshments will be available on-site. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the live music and pay patronage to our local restaurants and shops.
